Founded in 1999 by award-winning Gas Engineer and entrepreneurDante Cantal, Twin Eagles quickly grew to become a market leader in the Outdoor Grill Market. From the beginning, Dante set out to differentiate his line of Outdoor Grills through an combination of commercial performance and residential luxury. In the intervening years, Twin Eagles has developed a strong reputation throughout the outdoor living industry for it's distinctive design profile and uncompromising dedication to quality and craftsmanship.

A Founder's Journey - The Dante Cantal Story

Early Years - Educated as a mechanical engineer in the Philippines, and started to design appliances for White Westinghouse and General Electric.

1982 - Relocated to the United States and began focusing on designing commercial gas equipment for resorts, hotels, restaurants, casinos, and lodges as a Director at U.S. Range. This role ultimately led to the development of the first stainless steel gas grills for residential use.

1990 - By the mid-1990s, Dante gained recognition in the commercial appliance industry, holding various leadership roles and earning several awards, including ASGE West Coast Chapter President (1993-94), Institute for the Advancement of Engineering Fellow (1995), and the prestigious Art Theobald Award (2000). He also served as ASGE National President (2007-09). Throughout his career, Dante contributed his engineering expertise to major brands like Dynasty, Maytag, Jenn-Air, Cal Flame, Ducane Meridian, and Wolf.

1996 - Co-founded Lynx Professional Grills after realizing his professional niche as an engineer/designer of high-performance grills.

2000 - Incorporation of Twin Eagles, Inc. which was named in honor of Dante's recently born twin children and the national bird of his native Philippines.

2002 - Release of the first Twin Eagles Grill, the A series, which featured several innovations developed over Dante's decades of experience.

2009 - Introduction of the Twin Eagles B Series Grill which featured updates including indigo blue illumination, an industry changing innovation, as well as improved performance characteristics that revolutionized outdoor cooking.

2012 - The launch of the Delta Heat Grills product line.

2017 - After two years of development, Twin Eagles launches a re-designed gas grill, known internally as the “C Series” which included the performance engineered 5-Part Grilling System.

2019 - Twin Eagles launches the high-concept “Eagle One” super-premium gas grill and in the same year, brings to market the category extending Twin Eagles Pellet Grill

2021 - In February 2021, Dometic acquired Twin Eagles to expand into the residential outdoor kitchen market. This strategic move strengthened Dometic’s presence in North America, integrating Twin Eagles' premium outdoor appliances into their product range to meet the rising demand for luxury outdoor living.
